Outweary.com respects the intellectual property rights of artists, designers, and content creators. If you believe that your copyrighted work has been used on our site without authorization, you may submit a formal DMCA notice, and we’ll take prompt action.

1. Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice

If you’re the copyright owner (or authorized agent), and you believe content on our site infringes your rights, please send a written notice to:
📧 legal@outweary.com (or use support@outweary.com if only one email)

Your notice must include:

  • Your full name and contact info (email, address, phone number)
  • A description of the copyrighted work you believe is infringed
  • The exact URL(s) where the infringing content appears
  • A statement that you believe, in good faith, that the use is unauthorized
  • A declaration that the information provided is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf
  • Your electronic or physical signature

Incomplete requests may not be processed.

2. What Happens Next

If your takedown request is valid:

  • We will remove or disable access to the content in question
  • Notify the user (if applicable) of the takedown
  • Provide an opportunity for the uploader to file a counter-notice if they believe the claim is incorrect

3. Filing a Counter-Notice

If you believe your content was removed by mistake or misidentification, you can submit a counter-notice including:

  • Your full name and contact information
  • A clear identification of the material removed and its URL before takedown
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that the removal was a mistake or misidentification
  • A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the relevant court in your location
  • Your electronic or physical signature

If we receive a valid counter-notice, we may restore the content unless the original complainant takes legal action within 10–14 business days.

4. Repeat Infringement

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that are found to repeatedly violate copyright laws or submit false DMCA notices.
